Der Weg durch den Nebel

Es ist nun schon eine Weile her, dass ich im Auftrag einer alten Freundin ein Auftragsbild für einen Freund von ihr erstellen durfte.

Das habe ich dem Empfänger des Bildes geschrieben:
„Hallo […],
ich habe von […] den Auftrag bekommen ein prophetisches Bild für dich anzufertigen. Dabei sollte ich für dich beten und Jesus fragen, was Er dir sagen möchte. Was ich dabei empfangen habe, sollte ich dann als Bild umsetzen.
Während ich also für dich betete, hatte ich den Eindruck, dass du durch eine Gebirgslandschaft mit viel Wald gegangen bist. Auf deinem Weg ging es grade in den Wald hinein und ins Tal hinunter. Das ganze Tal war erfüllt mit dichtem, dicken Nebel, so dass du deinen Weg nur ganz schwer erkennen konntest. Das hat dich total verunsichert, weil du dir unsicher warst wie es weitergeht und du nicht vorausschauen konntest und nicht wusstest wohin es überhaupt geht.
Ich habe den Eindruck, dass du auf deinem Lebensweg gerade nicht weißt wie es weitergeht. Es ist so als wärst du überall von Nebel umgeben, so dass du nicht weiterschauen kannst. Das verunsichert dich ziemlich, weil du nicht mehr als die nächsten Schritte planen kannst.
Während ich über diesem Eindruck betete, fiel mir eine Stelle aus einem Büchlein von Rick Joyner ein. Hier wird eine Kampftechnik aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg beschrieben. In den Schlachten auf See hat der Feind künstliche Nebelbänke gelegt. Die Schiffe fuhren in die unerwartete Nebelwand, waren dadurch verunsichert, wussten ihren Weg nicht mehr und fingen an nach Gefühl zu steuern. Dabei kamen sie total vom Weg ab, teilweise fuhren sie ineinander und viele Schiffe sanken. Die Verluste, die dadurch entstanden waren höher als durch feindlichen Beschuss.Die Antwort auf diese Verwirrung war einfach stur den Kurs zu halten und einfach wie bisher weiter zu fahren. Da diese Nebelbänke künstlich waren, war man relativ schnell wieder aus ihnen heraus, hatte wieder Sicht und konnte normal weiterfahren.
Ich denke, dass eine Botschaft dieses Bildes an dich die folgende ist. Wenn du den Eindruck hast, dass dein Leben grade wie im Nebel ist, mach einfach treu in dem weiter, was du bisher als richtigen Weg erkannt hast und gehe diesen Dingen und Erkenntnissen nach, bis du weitere Klarheit hast. Damit wirst du denke ich in Zeiten des Nebels und Verunsicherung gut fahren.
Des Weiteren kam mir dazu der Bibelvers aus Sprüche 16,9: „Das Herz des Menschen denkt sich seinen Weg aus, aber der HERR lenkt seine Schritte.“
Ich verstehe diesen Vers so, dass Gott uns lenken wird, wenn wir uns in Bewegung setzen, die Schritte gehen, die wir sehen können. Und dann wird Gott uns leiten, uns den Weg zeigen. Das tut er aber nicht am Anfang bevor wir überhaupt losgegangen sind. Wie bei einem Navi, wo ich Startpunkt und Ziel und den kompletten Weg dazwischen sehe. Nein, in dem wir gehen und uns in Bewegung setzen, zeigt er uns den weiteren Weg, wenn es wichtig wird. Während wir gehen, wird sich der weitere Weg zeigen.
Ich will Dich als ermutigen, deinen Weg einfach wie bisher weiter zu gehen, auch wenn du gerade von viel Nebel, Unsicherheit und Verwirrung umgeben bist. Gehe deinen Weg weiter und irgendwann wirst du wieder aus dem Nebel herauskommen. In dem du dich bewegst, werden sich die weiteren Schritte zeigen. Lass dich also nicht verunsichern, sei guten Mutes! Gott ist mit dir und für Dich!

A little while ago I was commissioned by an old friend to do a prophetic painting for a friend of her. This is what I wrote to the recipient of the picture:
„Hello […],
[…] commissioned me to paint a prophetic picture for you. With this she asked me to pray for you and to ask Jesus what He would say to you. What I then received I should paint as a picture.Your name and that you are an old friend of her were the only things that I knew about you.
As I was praying for you I received the impression seeing you walking through a mountain landscape with great forests. You were walking on a way just leading into the wood down into a valley. The valley was filled with thick dense fog so that you could hardly see your path. That totally confused you as you were not sure how to continue and you were not able to look forward where your path might lead on to.
My impression is that you have no clue how to walk on in your journey of life. It is much like you are surrounded by fog everywhere so that you are unable to look forward. This situation kinda confuses you as you are unable to plan ahead your steps.
As I was praying about this impression I was reminded by a certain section in a booklet of Rick Joyner. There he refers to a strategy of war during World War II. During the sea battles the enemy arranged artificial fog banks. The ships were driving in these unexpected fog walls, where totally confused, didn’t know their way anymore and began to steer by feeling. That way they totally lost their way, some drove into each other and many ships were sinking. The losses caused by this were higher than from the direct attacks through weapons of the enemy.
The answer to this confusion was to just simple hold course and to continue with the right way. As these fog banks were artificial you got out of them relatively quickly, you got sight again and you were able to continue as before.
I believe the message of this picture is the following: If your impression is like your life is totally in thick fog just continue with the way you know is the right way, just follow the things and the findings you know that is right as long as you receive more clarity. I guess this will be a good advice in times of fog and confusion.
And then I was reminded by this scripture: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Proverbs 16:9
I understand this verse in that way: God will guide us when we get in motion, take some steps that we can see as a good way. And then God will guide us and show the way. But He doesn’t do this before we have started, before we went. Like with a navigation system where I can see the starting point and the destination and the complete way inbetween. No, as we go and set ourselves in motion, He will show us the further way as soon it is important. As we go, He will show the next part of the road. You cannot steer a car while you are standing.
I want to encourage you to continue the right way like before, even if you are surrounded by much fog, insecurity and confusion. Continue to follow the right path and somehow you will come out of the fog. As you are moving your next steps will get more clearly. Don’t get confused, be of good courage! God is with you and He is for you!
